I have been a full time violinmaker since 1987, with my first shop in Long
Island New York, and my current shop near Charlottesville, Virginia.
Prior to setting up my own shop, my previous experiences include an
internship with Mr. Andrew S. Kim, who taught at the Chicago School
of Violinmaking, a job with Stephen McGhee at his restoration shop in
Manhattan, and I worked with John Terry in Italy, where I was able to study
the methods of the Italian School. In addition to making Violins, Violas,
and Cellos, I also do repair and restoration work. Please follow
the links to the left to learn more about me and the work I do, and
to see some samples of my work under Instruments. I look forward to hearing from
you.
